"Ces bandes aux couleurs vives et pures s’élèvent en pleine lumière entre terre et ciel, reflet du spectre solaire.
Ces bandes devenues entités font penser à la légende, dans la mythologie grecque, à L’ECHARPE D’IRIS.
IRIS, déesse mi-femme, mi-oiseau aux ailes d’or, vêtue d’un léger voile coloré qui devenait étincelant sous le soleil, et laissait dans son sillage un magnifique arc-en-ciel. Ces bandes aux couleurs lumineuses nous interpellent et nous rappellent la palette de Claude MONET."

THE BREATH OF IRIS

"These strips of bright, pure colors rise in full light between earth and sky, a reflection of the solar spectrum.
These strips become entities make think of the legend, in the Greek mythology, with L'ECHARPE D'IRIS.
IRIS, goddess half-woman, half-bird with wings of gold, dressed in a light colored veil that became sparkling under the sun, and left in its wake a magnificent rainbow. These strips of bright colors challenge us and remind us of the palette of Claude MONET."

Œuvre murale de 25 m2 installée le 15 mars 2014 dans le passage souterrain des 2 parkings à GIVERNY
réalisée à la demande de l'association "Les amis de Giverny"

THE BREATH OF SPRING

Mural 25 m2, installed the 15th of March 2014 in the underpass of two carparks in Giverny, created upon request of the association “Les Amis de Giverny”.

LE SOUFFLE DU PRINTEMPS / THE BREATH OF SPRING

"C'est un jeu de lignes verticales colorées animées par une brise, un vent léger qui aspire et transporte tout le jardin fleuri de Claude MONET, si riche en couleurs pures.
Ces fleurs de printemps suggérées dans cette œuvre murale "Le souffle du printemps" s'acheminent jusqu'au Musée des impressionnismes sur une longueur de 14 m et sur une hauteur de 1,25 m.
Du jardin Monet au Musée des impressionismes, l'oeuvre de Michel DEBULLY interpelle les passants portés par "Le souffle du printemps".

“It’s a play of vertical colored lines animated by a breeze, a light wind which aspires and carries Claude Monet’s garden, rich in pure color.
These spring flowers suggested on this mural “the breath of spring” extend as far as the Impressionist Museum over a length of 14 m and height of 1.25 m.
From Monet’s garden to the Impressionism Museum, the work of Michel Debully catches the eye of passers-by uplifted by on “the breath of spring”.
